If you would like to visit in person, we ask that you RSVP first so that we can ensure a safe maximum number of people. Please let us know that you are coming through our contact form.
Meeting Time
Our Sunday Worship time is 11am. We recommend arriving at around 10:45am to give yourself enough time to navigate through the building and to also check-in your children. We are located in the SL Chapel. A nursery room is available for those with infants at the back of the chapel.
Youth (grades 8-12) - We worship together on Sundays; there is usually a Bible study afterwards downstairs.
Children (toddler - grade 7) meet in the Sunday School room which is also located in the lower level of the building.
What to Expect
As a newcomer, we won’t single you out nor go out of our way to embarrass you. In fact, you might think we are cold! But we are not! We just want to give you some space to check us out and not feel like you are committing to anything. Depending on the day, one or two members will come say, ‘Hi’ and sometimes, the pastor will also come and introduce himself to you.
Next Steps
So we failed to scare you and you stuck around… now what? Well, we’d love for you to go deeper into community. There are a variety of ways to participate and serve, and you can also commit to the our community through membership!

When you are ready to plunge in and join our community, there is a 7-session course that you can take to find out what we believe in and clarify any questions you may have. You can let the pastor know you are interested by emailing him: pastor@saltandlightministry.ca
Order of Worship
People come dressed casual to business casual. If you are visiting us for the first time and are simply coming as a guest, please don’t feel obligated to give financially (an offering). We don’t have a separate offering time, but have an offering box on your left as you enter the room.
10:45-11:00am Mingle and Chat
11:00 am Welcome and Opening Prayer
11:05 am Worship through Music
- we invite people to stand, and to sing and clap as you are comfortable.
11:30 am Worship through Message
- the pastor will come up and share the Sunday Message. at the end of the message, the
pastor will end with prayer and will ask people to stand for the reflection song.
11:50 am Refection
- the worship team will lead us in the final song, to give us the opportunity to think and to
reflect on the message. everyone is invited to join us in singing.
11:55 am Closing Prayer
- while we are still standing, the pastor will come back up to close the Worship time with
prayer.
12 pm Announcements
- the Sunday Worship time is officially over, and a few announcements are shared.
*although we strive to end by 12pm, on occasion our Sunday Worship does go over time. If you are tight for time, please feel free to leave at any time. it is not considered rude.
